About Lynn Miles

Lynn Miles is one of Canada’s most accomplished singer/songwriters. Lynn’s 15th album We’ll Look For Stars” was released in July 2020 and climbed to the #1 position on the Euro Americana Chart for the month of August 2020 and earned numerous 5 star reviews in Europe and North America.

Lynn now has 16 solo albums to her credit

She released “TumbleWeedyWorld” in March 2023 on Canadian label True North Records.  The album has been receiving glowing reviews and airplay around the globe.  “Like all the best ones do, her songs feel like loyal companions along the road of life, wherever your at” Alan Cracket

Lynn was the winner of the 2003 Juno award for Roots and Traditional Solo Album of the Year and was nominated for two other Juno’s in the same categories  in 2006 and 2011, and has won multiple Canadian Folk Music awards including “Solo Artist of The Year” for her CD “Downpour” and 2011 “English Songwriter of the Year”. She’s been nominated for Artist of the Year for the 2021 Canadian Folk Music Awards.

She has  also produced several CD’s for fellow artists, including Kathrine Wheatley and Lynne Hanson.

Lynn’s song “Black Flowers” is on the 2017 Grammy Nominated “North By South” album by Claire Lynch. Her song “Three Chords and the Truth” is include in the BBC TV show “Case Histories”.

One of her favourite times on stage was when she sang her songs with the National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa.

She has toured extensively in North America and Europe.
